About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electric Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Draughtsman to join our team. The main objective of the EC&I Draughtsman/Modeller is to produce high-quality and cost-effective draughting and modelling deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare drawing deliverables, including transmittal notes.
- Interpret technical equipment information and implement it on design drawings.
- Maintain and enhance drawing standards.
- Generate Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control deliverables.
- Manage document registers.
- Compile P&IDs, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment arrangements.
- Develop electrical layout drawings (small power, lighting, cableways, etc.) and schematic diagrams.
- Specify equipment locations, equipment racking & routing diagrams, draught loop drawings, and instrument hookup drawings.
- Conduct site measurements and inspections.
- Verify drawings for site installation.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation draughting
- Proficient in: AutoCAD, IronCAD, DesSoft, Revit, Inventor, MS Office
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Self-motivated, driven, loyal, dedicated & assertive
