About the Role
As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and compliance across both workshop and on-site operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS) and SHEQ systems, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 standards and client-specific quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS and SHEQ systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Establish and monitor quality control processes for workshop and on-site services.
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation, inspection records, and traceability.
- Lead and manage SHEQ systems to promote a strong safety culture across all operations and ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
- Drive incident investigation, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Plan and lead internal audits across all departments and prepare the business for external audits and certifications.
- Maintain audit schedules, reports, and follow-up actions while ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards and client requirements.
- Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met on all jobs.
- Conduct site inspections and audits for on-site machining projects.
- Provide guidance on quality and safety requirements during project planning and execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a QC / SHEQ Manager role within Engineering, Manufacturing, Mining, or Industrial services (5 to 10 years).
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Demonstrated experience in leading internal and external audits.
- Solid understanding of quality control processes and inspection methodologies.
- Knowledge of relevant South African SHEQ legislation and standards.

- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.) not specified.
Salary & Benefits
Salary CTC based on qualification and experience – R40 000 to R50 000.
