Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: To supply, grow and improve customer base, provide customer satisfaction and service, which includes, but is not limited to the following: • Quotations, Invoicing • Following up on quotes on a weekly basis • Liaising with customers daily. • Data Capturing and updating existing database. • Data Capturing into a CRM system • Research on new customers. • Making achievable sales targets. • Achieve external call target. • Achieve external meeting target • Attend tender meetings. • Attend shows and promotional campaigns to further promote and expand the customer and company’s customer base, supply, service, and support. • Provide support solutions and assistance towards the smooth running of sales, administration, preparation, and successfully achieve targets. • Assist the sales team to promote business, achieve targets and provide excellent customer service and support. To develop & understand the products, provide client support & solutions. • Proactively keep up to date with product and service solutions and support. • Share information and remain curious about relevant trends and solutions that could improve the company’s business. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: • 3 – 5 years successful external sales experience within a similar industry, experience providing engineering / technical sales support solutions (provide references) • Sales/background in Engineering, Networking, Electrical industrial automation, plant automation solutions (or similar) could hold an unfinished electrical engineering qualification, or industry experience (advantageous) • BCom / Electrical or similar (Advantageous) • CISCO / CCNA N (Advantageous) • Basic knowledge of SAP software (training provided) • CRM experience • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (presentations) • Positive attitude, highly motivated “can do” attitude. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: • Selling, designing, supporting, and implementing industrial automation applications and solutions • Age: 28 to 38 years • South African Citizen and valid ID • Must reside in and around CapeTown • Own reliable car and valid (Code B) Driver’s license • Excellent communication skills, proficient in English • Ability to work under pressure • Travelling & consulting as and where needed • Motivated, Excellent Communicator, always professional. PACKAGE & REMUNERATION: • Basic R25k – R35k (Negotiable based on skills, work experience and ability) Plus Commission • Medical Aid Subsidy* • Training provided where necessary (certifications) • Company Car to be negotiated on *successful completion of probation period. • Company and Business Tools (such as company cell phone & laptop (negotiable, based on successful probation period, training, and approval by the company)
