This role requires a hands-on individual who is confident in fabrication design, detail drawing, and industrial mechanical components. The ideal candidate will fit well into a close-knit office environment, communicate effectively, and handle constructive feedback professionally.RequirementsValid drivers licenseMechanical engineering or steel fabrication drawing experienceProven experience creating fabrication drawings for structural steel componentsExperience drafting staircases, platforms, railings, tanks, silos, chutes, hoppers, or conveyorsAbility to produce workshop-ready drawings with accurate Bill of Materials (BOM)Strong knowledge of welding symbols, fabrication tolerances, and assembly standardsExperience with sheet metal development and GA drawingsProficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Autodesk Inventor (advantageous)Ability to create 3D assemblies and generate BOMs from drawingsKnowledge of industrial machinery layouts and mechanical component draftingUnderstanding of fabrication processes including cutting, rolling, bending, and welding effects on designExperience with site measurements and design adjustments based on site constraintValid drivers licenseSend your CV
