Safety & Security Guardian Own the safety of Mama people, property, and assets. Create a secure environment where everyone feels protected while the energy stays vibrant and welcoming ? ? Team Leader & Culture Builder Lead and inspire the outsourced security team supervisors, controllers, and officers. Embed Mamas culture, values, and Code of Ethics into everything they do ?? ? Training & Standards Champion Train; coach, and upskill your team on security procedures, surveillance systems, incident reporting, and first aid all aligned with Accor standards ?? ? Crisis & Emergency Commander Develop and lead all emergency response plans fire, evacuation, and external threats. Stay ready, stay sharp, and ensure the team knows exactly what to do when it matters most ?? ? Risk & Prevention Strategist Continuously assess risks across the property and implement smart, proactive solutions to eliminate or minimize them ? ? Systems & Technology Controller Oversee all CCTV, access control, and security systems ensuring they are fully operational, effective, and future-ready ?? ? Compliance & Governance Expert Ensure full compliance with South African legislation (OHS, criminal law, fire safety, POPI, etc.) and maintain all SOPs and LSOPs ? ? Fire Life & Safety Champion Own and manage all Fire Life & Safety systems. Lead drills, training, and readiness to ensure a safe environment at all times ?? ? Investigation Lead Handle investigations related to incidents, loss, or theft with professionalism, fairness, and attention to detail ?? ? Stakeholder & Authority Liaison Build strong relationships with local authorities and external partners. Be the trusted point of contact for all security-related matters ?? ? Health & Safety Advocate Drive a strong safety culture across the property. Lead Health & Safety Committee initiatives and support Mamas sustainability commitments ?? ? Collaboration Ninja Work closely with People & Culture, Operations, and Building Management to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient operations across all spaces ? ? Continuous Improvement Driver Always look for ways to improve smarter systems, better training, stronger processes. You never settle for good enough ?? Qualifications MADE FOR YOU ONLY IF You have solid experience in security leadership within hospitality or complex environments ?? You bring at least 5 years experience in security or facilities security management ? You understand South African legislation (OHS, criminal law, fire safety, etc.) inside out Youve managed outsourced security providers and know how to get the best out of them ? Youre calm under pressure and thrive in high-stakes situations ?? Youre a strong leader who commands respect while building trust ?? You can balance strict security with exceptional guest experience effortlessly YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS ? Certifications like SAMTRAC; NEBOSH, Fire Safety, or First Aid ? A Definite ??
