Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and equipment
- Identify and source new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor and analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance to optimize procurement decisions
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, and quality control teams, to ensure procurement requirements are met
- Manage the procurement budget and track savings and cost reductions
- Support inventory management and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, in the electronics industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS) is preferred
