Responsibilities
As a CIMA/SAIPA Trainee, you will be involved in various accounting and finance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Conducting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Performing financial analysis and management accounting
- Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Supporting the preparation of management reports
- Engaging with clients across various industries, offering exposure to different business environments
- Participating in the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Collaborating with senior accountants and auditors on ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Enrolled in or planning to enrol in the CIMA or SAIPA training program
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- A proactive and ambitious attitude
