What You Bring
- 5+ years Node.js & 5+ years React experience
- Strong experience building microservices in production
- Solid understanding of relational & non-relational databases
- Proven ability building and integrating REST APIs
- Hands-on exposure to AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Ability to mentor, guide, and lead technical initiatives
- Strong communicator with excellent English (written & verbal)
- Bonus points for Docker / Kubernetes experience
What You’ll Do
- Design & Build: Develop Scytale’s cloud-based platform using AWS, microservices, and containerized tech
- Architect: Take part in high-level design, research, and planning for scalable and robust software
- Create End-to-End: Implement backend logic, craft intuitive frontends, and integrate with third-party APIs
- Collaborate: Work with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless platform
- Lead: Mentor junior devs and drive best practices, standards, and knowledge sharing
- Optimize: Continuously push for efficiency, scalability, and maintainability across the platform

This is a permanent role based in Melrose Arch (Hybrid) offering a CTC of R1.3m per annum, negotiable based on your skills and experience.
