Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Opportunity Analysis: Analyse customer, pricing, and commercial data to identify high-potential revenue streams and buying patterns.
- Strategic Sales Steering: Automate sales opportunity and task creation within CRM systems using technical data triggers.
- Marketing Performance Tracking: Monitor new product rollouts, track sales velocity, and measure ROI against marketing objectives.
- Technical Pricing & CPQ: Build and refine pricing models that reflect product complexity, driving higher win rates.
- Forecasting & Operations Planning: Collaborate with Product Leads to align sales demand with technical inventory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Strategy: Embed data-driven decision-making into commercial strategies, ensuring sales teams focus on the right applications.
- Commercial Insights: Present technical and commercial recommendations clearly to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business opportunities.
Essential Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics).
- Experience: ~2 years post-degree work experience in an industrial/technical environment.
- Aptitude: Strong interest in transitioning from engineering fieldwork into technical marketing and commercial strategy.
- Systems Literacy: Proven expertise with CRM, pricing, and forecasting platforms (ERP experience essential).
- Commercial Mindset: Ability to translate technical specifications into clear commercial value.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to explain the “why” behind data-driven insights.
