Senior bookkeeper / accountant Bloemfontein
Duties & Responsibilities
- Intensive knowledge of the Tax Act
- All Monthly bookkeeping functions Asset register, Tax Register, Inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Bank Recon, Cashbooks, etc.
- Intercompany loans and transfers, Balance Sheet recons, Profit & Loss reports.
- Processing of Year end Journals, Auditing Assistance, Setup of Audit pack and Preparation of Audit files.
- Payroll and VAT Reconciliations.
- Overseeing Debtors and Creditors Reconciliations as per Age Analysis.
- Stock take and Stock reconciliations.
- Other Admin or Financial duties as required by the Directors.
- Payroll and Payroll Administration Submit EMP201 returns. Submit EMP501 reconciliations, Complete and Submit Employees IT3 and IRP5 certificates (Payroll ranges from 120 to 180 employees).
- COIDA (Workmens Compensation Return of Earnings submissions).
- Monthly VAT calculations, Submit VAT201 returns, Dealing with all SARS related Enquiries and Audits
- Calculations and Completion of Provisional and Income Tax Returns E-filing Administration Loading of various payments, Submitting supporting documents. Must have Knowledge of the Tax Clearance Application processes, Statement of Accounts, Allocations of Unallocated Payments, Problem Solving.

- Minimum 5 Years Business Experience
- Fluent in English

- Experience with E-filling and doing Tax Returns, VAT201, EMP201, EMP501s and IRP5s
Marked related Remuneration
R 30 000.00 R35k + pm TCTC Dependant on work experience and knowledge
