About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our client’s team in Gauteng. As a key member of the supply chain management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, inventory management, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery of products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving disputes
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Matric Degree in Supply Chain Management
- 4 years experience in a managerial capacity
- 10 years experience in supply chain in manufacturing or engineering
- Hydraulics procurement experience is an advantage
