About the Role
Our client, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is seeking a Business Development Lead: High Volume & Strategic Bill Issuers to join their growing team. The primary objective of this role is to drive transaction growth across existing billers and payment channels, while identifying and onboarding new high-volume potential billers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive transaction growth across existing billers and payment channels (retail and digital)
- Identify, source, and onboard new billers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key biller stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships (e.g. banks, referral partners)
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to grow their offering
- Serve as the primary liaison between billers/prospects and internal teams
- Collaborate with marketing to support and enhance their market presence
- Ensure smooth operational delivery for all biller-related activities
- Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance, opportunities, and forecasts
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5-8 years of similar experience in the payments/financial industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent in business English; additional languages will be seen as beneficial
