About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Officer to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our business intelligence function, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making across our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our reporting frameworks and systems are aligned with evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales and returns reporting
- Maintain and update reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Generate and distribute performance reports, dashboards, and data cubes
- Support principal back-end budgeting and target setting across regions and products
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain and enhance master data across customers, materials, and sales hierarchies
- Support month-end reporting processes and stakeholder reporting requirements
- Assist with Power BI workspace management, user access, and onboarding
- Partner with IT and business teams to resolve data discrepancies
- Contribute to business case development and reporting for new initiatives
Requirements
- National Diploma in Sales Management or similar
- Progress toward a B.Com degree is advantageous
- 3–5 years’ experience in sales systems, reporting, or data analysis
- Advanced Excel and strong data manipulation capability
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and DAX expressions
- Working knowledge of SAP (ERP/BW4HANA) and SQL
- Exposure to Salesforce systems and reporting
