About the Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role at Vumilia Africa Group (Pty) Ltd is a critical position that enables financial sustainability and compliance with all relevant legislation and financial/accounting standards. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight and insights on the financial position and performance of the organization’s strategic partnerships and investments to ensure sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrates financial data into long term strategic planning
- Conducts scenario planning and predictive financial modelling
- Guides investment prioritisation and resource allocation at the executive level
- Supports organisational transformation with financial insight
- Facilitating and identifying budget guidelines and parameters development and implementation
- Assist in translating business strategy into a financial plan
- Design and document BU level budgeting
- Draw up a standardised business unit budget proposal template
- Submitting budgets and financial information to Treasury and Department of Human Settlement
- Forecasting income and expenditure against various parameters
