About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Nelspruit. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our full portfolio of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured market research and gather market intelligence to identify opportunities aligned with the company’s offerings.
- Build relationships across customer functions, including maintenance, engineering, planning, projects, procurement, and stores.
- Map decisionmakers and influencers and understand both technical and commercial decision processes.
- Act as the primary technical and commercial interface between customers and internal teams.
- Promote and grow the full portfolio of products, services, engineered solutions, and projects.
- Support product sales by working closely with internal sales assistants, providing technical input, specifications, and solution guidance.
- Identify service and solution opportunities and share relevant intelligence with regional and business managers.
- Filter enquiries to focus on high-value, strategically aligned opportunities.
Requirements
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of industrial, manufacturing, and service-based engineering environments.
- Proven experience in technical or solution-based sales.
- Ability to engage confidently at engineering and senior management level.
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Structured, disciplined sales approach (not cold-calling driven).
- Willingness to travel within the allocated region.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a relevant technical qualification is preferred.
