Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Junior Installation Electrician (Wireman) to join our growing Renewable Energy firm in Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality solar installations while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits for residential solar quality control (QC)
- Ensure SANS 10142 compliance during installations
- Sign off on CoCs
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
- Provide excellent client liaison services
Requirements
- Valid 3-Phase Wireman’s License
- Registered with Dept of Employment & Labour (DoEL) as Installation Electrician
- Minimum 1 year proven experience in signing off on CoCs
- Solid knowledge of SANS 10142 standards
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport
Qualifications
- Formal education or relevant certifications not specified
Salary & Benefits
- R13,000pm base salary
- Extra commission on installs
- Payment for every CoC signed
