About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a leading contractor specializing in wet services projects across the country, we require a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims based on completed work.
- Compile and price variations and communicate them effectively to the client.
- Conduct accurate take-offs from wet services engineers’ drawings.
- Prepare and submit tenders based on Bills of Quantities or drawing-based take-offs.
- Produce monthly cost reports for each active site.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a plumbing-focused construction environment is essential.
- Solid knowledge of the JBCC contract is highly beneficial.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with CCS (Candy) software is advantageous.
- Ability to perform digital take-offs using QS software is a plus.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience and skills are essential.
