About the Role
Our successful Chefs de Partie play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes before opening for orders. They are responsible for maintaining our company’s quality standards and systems, while also following directions provided by senior Chefs and Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough preparation of dishes before opening for orders
- Maintain the company’s quality standards and systems
- Follow directions provided by senior Chefs and Management
- Manage the well-equipped kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Report equipment breakages promptly
- Produce menus and food of a high international standard
- Be an active member of the competent and motivated kitchen team
- Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high-quality standards consistently and accurately
Requirements
- Matric (NQF 4)
- A qualified chef
- Great organisation skills
- Energy and drive to get the job done
- Minimum of three years experience in a similar position
