About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join their team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the technology investment strategy, you will provide input on strategic direction and drive business improvement through technical architecture solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture.
- Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture specifications and models.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for the customer implemented in the most efficient manner while ensuring the solution is complete and operable.
- Occasionally participate in the supplier selection process.
- Review new and existing solutions design projects and procurement plans for compliance with architectural plans.
- Work collaboratively with a global team to create and execute research into the feasibility of emerging Solutions trends.
- Translate customer requirements into working solutions.
- Develop business cases to understand costs, risk and benefits of solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
- Current Cisco Network or other UCC certifications.
- Fluent in country-of-origin language (English is a requirement).
- Prior professional services or consulting background.
- 10+ years experience in network administration or information technology systems.
- Worked across diverse cultures and geographies.
