About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager for a prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge in the North West. This live-in role is ideal for a professional with strong operational leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-end safari environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead, manage, and motivate lodge staff to maintain high standards of hospitality
- Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and responding to feedback
- Coordinate with all departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services
- Manage budgets, purchasing, and operational costs efficiently
- Maintain lodge facilities to 5-star standards and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and operational policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or in a senior management role within luxury safari lodges
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour
- Ability to live on-site and work flexible hours
- Knowledge of lodge operations, budgeting, and staff management
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R25,000 – R35,000 DOE
