About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager for a prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge in the North West. This live-in role is ideal for a professional with strong operational leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-end safari environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Lead, manage, and motivate lodge staff to maintain high standards of hospitality
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and responding to feedback
  • Coordinate with all departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services
  • Manage budgets, purchasing, and operational costs efficiently
  • Maintain lodge facilities to 5-star standards and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and operational policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or in a senior management role within luxury safari lodges
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour
  • Ability to live on-site and work flexible hours
  • Knowledge of lodge operations, budgeting, and staff management

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

R25,000 – R35,000 DOE
