About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team in Polokwane. As a Divisional Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across our operations. You will be responsible for conducting audits, investigations, and special projects, while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed compliance, roaming, store opening, and store closure audits
- Perform follow-up audits to ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Evaluate adherence to internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Participate in forensic investigations, tip-offs, and high-risk reviews
- Analyse data and identify trends using audit tools and techniques (CAATs)
- Conduct stock take reviews and assess inventory controls
- Enhance and develop audit programmes aligned to evolving business needs
- Review and contribute to the improvement of company policies and procedures
- Support special projects and ad hoc assignments
- Support operational planning to achieve audit objectives
- Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Act as a role model, driving values and supporting teams across the division
Requirements
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Internal Audit or related field
- Minimum 4 years’ internal audit experience
- Solid understanding of IIA standards
- Strong knowledge of finance, procurement, and inventory processes
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Qualifications
- CIA qualification (or in progress)
