About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at Edenvale, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and distribution centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock balances, and implement effective inventory control strategies
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to inventory management
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Requirements
- 5–8 years’ experience in inventory within a warehousing/distribution environment (FMCG preferred)
- 10 years’ experience in warehousing/distribution
- 5 years’ stock management experience
- 5 years’ people management experience
- Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or similar
- Strong experience in warehousing & distribution, transport, FMCG, and management
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Advanced WMS and GP system skills
- Cold storage management experience is essential
