Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and selecting menswear and boyswear products that align with the brand`s identity and customer preferences. Support market research efforts to identify emerging trends and potential new brands. Help build and maintain supplier relationships, contributing to negotiations for favourable terms and contracts. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate to ensure timely stock replenishment based on performance and seasonal demand. Work with merchandising, design, and marketing teams to ensure product offerings match sales and promotional strategies. Analyse sales data to identify trends, best-sellers, and slow-moving items, adjusting the buying strategy accordingly. Attend relevant fashion events, supplier meetings, and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends and product offerings. Ensure all selected products meet the company’s quality standards and are delivered within budget and on time. Report on sales performance, market trends, and buying strategies to senior buyers and management.
