Our client – is a leading full-service commercial Bank, is looking for a Flexcube – Developer and functional consultant to join their team. The company operates across ten African countries, the UAE and UK, with representative offices in China, India and Lebanon. They’re evolving to redefine the power of relationship.
 
JOB MISSION:
 
The mission of the Flexcube Developer and Functional Consultant at the client is to leverage expertise in Flexcube development and functional consulting to drive the design, customization, implementation, and optimization of the Flexcube core banking system. This role aims to ensure the seamless integration, configuration, and utilization of Flexcube modules and functionalities to support the bank`s business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver superior customer experiences
 
REPORTS TO:
Manager: Flexcube Technical Operations
 
YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

• Good knowledge of Banking Processes, Domain, and Practices
• Working knowledge of Oracle development tools, WebLogic server deployments, Oracle Database
• Core Banking Systems implementations – Preferably Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking Solution v 14.x
• Must Have exposure to various modules of FCUBS in terms of product parameterization, testing and UAT Support
• Ability to analyse & translate business requirements into system solutions
• Must been involved in writing Business Requirement document
• Functional
• Good Knowledge on accounting and reports
• Good Knowledge on transactions flows
• Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
• Trained / experience on installation, configuration, technical and functional knowledge of at least two out of the new products OBPM, OBCFPM, OBTFPM, OBLM, OBCL, OBCLPM, OBSCF, OBVAM
• Create detailed designs and technical specifications for all customisations along with effort estimates thereof

MINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / accounting / Banking / Commerce / Management
• Good experience/knowledge on Flexcube web services and integration with third party applications
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, web logic
• Good understanding on Flexcube modules such as CASA, CORE, CL, OBPM. OBCL, Loan Origination, ELCM, 8C, LC & EOC, ATM
• Must have experience in dealing with stakeholders from a business and technical level
• Must have good technical and business knowledge of the Banking environment
• Must have effective communication and documentation skills
• Good exposure to integrations with external parties to Oracle Flex and understanding of the core banking processes and applications will be an advantage
• Minimum 8 years` extensive Oracle Flexcube experience

SKILLS/ SPECIALIZED KNOW HOW:

• Flexcube Development: Proficiency in developing, customizing, and configuring Flexcube modules, workflows, and functionalities using Flexcube development tools and technologies
• Functional Consulting: Ability to provide functional expertise, guidance, and support to business stakeholders and end-users on Flexcube capabilities, features, and best practices
• Integration and Interoperability: Experience in developing and maintaining interfaces and integrations between Flexcube and other systems, applications, and third-party services using standard protocols and APIs
• Customization and Configuration: Strong skills in customizing and configuring Flexcube modules, parameters, and workflows to align with business requirements and operational processes
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of Oracle Flexcube core banking system, including Oracle PL/SQL, Flexcube APIs, and customization tools, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Documentation and Knowledge Management: Ability to document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations related to Flexcube development and implementation, and maintain up-to-date documentation and knowledge repositories
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies related to Flexcube development and functional consulting
• Quality and Compliance: Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and best practices in Flexcube development and implementation
