Job Summary
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 with a Trade Test Certificate. At least 5 years of construction artisan experience . Read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures . Execute detailed written and verbal instructions. Willingness to travel and work at construction sites outside the metro and Western Cape. Valid drivers license and reliable transport. Medically fit and able to pass required medical assessments. Clear criminal record. Key
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues , ensuring economical and durable repairs. Dismantle and repair equipment using hoists and hand tools. Maintain and service heavy equipment, trucks, and non-mobile machinery. Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, greasing, filter changes, and maintaining preventative schedules. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic systems, diesel/gasoline engines, and transmissions. Conduct performance tests before and after repairs. Operate and maintain field service LDVs. Use stick/wire feed welders effectively.
