Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our team at a well-established lodge in Addo. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep of the lodge facilities, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repairs of lodge buildings and facilities
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Preventative maintenance planning and execution
- Painting, tiling, carpentry, and general upkeep
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Handyman / Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- General building maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, hands-on, and solution-driven
- Contactable references
Qualifications
- Trade qualification (Electrical/Plumbing)
