About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our busy dealership in Alberton. As a qualified trade test diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of trucks, including MERC, MAN, Scania, HINO, and 4 ton and up. If you have excellent problem-solving skills, enjoy working with your hands, and are able to work independently, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on trucks, including maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Use own tools for job requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license code 10/14
Requirements
- 5 years of experience working on trucks 4 ton and up
- Ability to work with various types of diesel engines and transmissions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Trade tested diesel mechanic qualification
- Own tools for job requirements
