About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our luxury lodge in Bela Bela, where you will be responsible for leading all maintenance operations and ensuring safety compliance. As a key member of our team, you will take ownership of operational standards and lead a small maintenance team within a dynamic, high-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance operations across buildings, accommodation, public areas, and equipment
- Manage projects, contractors, and budgets efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety, OHS standards, and fire regulations
- Control stock, tools, and procurement processes
- Oversee fleet management and reporting
- Supervise and develop maintenance staff performance and capabilities
- Maintain high standards of operational and environmental safety within the lodge
Requirements
- Matric
- 3+ years experience in Maintenance Management
- 3+ years experience in Project Management
- 2+ years experience in Fleet Management
- Valid Drivers License and PDP
- First Aid Level 3 certification
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and safety compliance
- Firefighting experience (Crew leader/crew boss, including grass fires)
- Understanding of high voltage power lines, transformers, and generators
- Knowledge of PV (photovoltaic) system principles
