Duties and responsibilities: Conduct regular visits to African branches to review financial records, internal controls, and compliance. Ensure branch financial processes align with group policies and IFRS standards. Identify gaps and risks in financial systems and implement practical solutions. Prepare branches for internal and external audits by ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation. Provide training and support to local finance teams to strengthen reporting and compliance. Monitor reconciliations, stock controls, and asset registers at branch level. Consolidate and report findings to head office with clear recommendations. Act as liaison between group finance and branch offices.
