About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Bethal, Mpumalanga. As the second-in-command in our logistics and operations team, you will support the Operations Manager in overseeing all aspects of catering transport, warehousing, and event logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead logistics crews and drivers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure all team members understand their duties, safety protocols, and performance expectations.
- Monitor daily performance, productivity, and compliance with SOPs.
- Step in for the Operations Manager when required, making operational decisions and resolving issues on the ground.
- Foster a positive, proactive, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Graduate Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transport, or warehouse operations will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with vehicle operations, inventory management, event logistics, and stock control a bonus.
Qualifications
- Medical fit as this is a physically demanding position
