Job Description

Are you a hands-on individual with mechanical experience and a strong work ethic?
Join our client’s well-established company as a Mechanical Fitter (Semi-Skilled), where you’ll assist with maintenance, repairs, and mechanical installations within a fast-paced operational environment. If you are practical, reliable, and eager to grow your technical skills, we want to hear from you!

Minimum requirements:

Matric or relevant technical qualification
Semi-skilled mechanical fitting experience
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings (ADVANTAGEOUS)
Experience working in a workshop or industrial environment
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
Willing to work extended hours based on operational needs
Valid drivers license

Key responsibilities:

Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs
Support installation and assembly of mechanical components
Perform routine inspections and identify faults
Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained properly
Follow safety procedures and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Remuneration:

R15 000 R25 000 per month (depending on experience)
