My client in Bloemfontein is recruiting for a experienced Control Room Operators. Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to submit their application via the link provided.

Minimum requirements:

• PSIRA registration
• Reliable transport
• Matric
• Computer literate
• Telephone etiquette
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
• Candidate must be willing to work 12 hour shifts (work 6 days, off 3 days)

Duties will include:

• Monitor system performance and equipment via control panels and sensors.
• Operate and adjust systems to ensure smooth functioning.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies by following safety protocols.
• Ensure safety compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with other teams (maintenance, technical, etc.) for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, incidents, and actions taken.
• Assist in system maintenance by supporting inspections and scheduled maintenance.
• Communicate updates and report issues to supervisors or relevant departments.
• Provide training and mentorship to new or junior operators.
• Stay updated on new technologies and operational procedures.

Remuneration:

R 6 500 (There could be a increase after 3 month probation period due to performance)
