About the Role
The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services in Bloemfontein, ensuring consistent meeting of sales and merchandising standards to optimise client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, maintaining high standards across synergised service operations, and supporting the company’s growth and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans to drive consistency and excellence in sales and merchandising
- Manage large, distributed teams and work with retail and wholesale partners across large areas
- Improve operational efficiency and productivity through process improvements and team development
- Foster strong customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless service delivery
- Drive sales growth and merchandising excellence through strategic planning and execution
Requirements
- National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification
- 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in a complex, fast-paced environment
Qualifications
