About the Role
Blum and Hofmeyr, a corporate retail store in Bloemfontein, is seeking an experienced Foods Department Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing departmental activities, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of consistent shopping experience
- Impute all foods departmental activities against budgets and business plans
- Ensure sales are inline with agreed budgets
- Maximise selling opportunities for foods instore via selling space
- Manage food sales plan
- Manage operational standards, shrinkage, waste and stock accuracy
- Stock replenishment
- Manage hot foods standards
- Complete weekly risk documentation
- Develop, recruit, and lead foods staff
- Minimize shrinkage
Requirements
- Matric
- Previous experience working within a foods environment
- Strong management experience
- Ability to drive sales and targets
- Knowledge of Food safety and OHSA
- Decision making abilities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
