About the Role
Ergasia Placements is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor & Accountant to join our team in Bloemfontein. As an Internal Auditor & Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, as well as developing and implementing accounting controls to improve company operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain and analyse financial statements and other accounting reports for submission to Management.
- Handle accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, payroll and cash management and inventory monitoring.
- Overview of stock control process and balancing of different stock between warehouses by prioritizing and auditing the inventory, analysing supplier performance and tracking sales.
- Develop and implement accounting controls and procedures to improve company operations.
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
- Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
Requirements
- BCom Accounting or BCompt Accounting Science essential.
- SAICA or SAIPA Completed Articles.
