Job Description

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent veterinary qualification
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) in good standing 
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans 
  • Perform Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) procedures
  • Conduct Artificial Insemination (AI) programmes
  • Perform reproductive ultrasound examinations and pregnancy diagnosis
  • Conduct bull breeding soundness evaluation and fertility testing
  • Perform semen collection and reproductive health assessments 
  • Provide herd health and reproductive management services
  • Support IVF, embryo transfer, and advanced reproductive programmes
  • Deliver professional veterinary and technical support to clients
  • Maintain accurate programme records and reports
  • Assist in training, development, and implementation of new reproductive technologies
  • Represent company at client visits, industry events, and training programmes
  • Travel extensively throughout South Africa and occasionally internationally
