About the Role

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams on industrial and mining projects across Western Cape. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in remote environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installation teams on-site
  • Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines
  • Coordinate activities across contractors and project stakeholders
  • Plan daily and weekly work schedules
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment for each project
  • Align site activities with project programs and milestones
  • Attend site meetings and liaise directly with clients
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports
  • Ensure all site instructions are properly approved and documented
  • Drive a strong safety culture on-site (SHEQ compliance)
  • Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety documentation
  • Ensure quality standards are met with minimal rework
  • Lead and manage installation crews and subcontractors
  • Oversee productivity, discipline, and performance on-site
  • Assist with scope definition, BOQs, and quotations
  • Support MV & LV installation design where required
  • Coordinate material deliveries and control site resources

Requirements

  • 4+ years in electrical engineering or construction
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in industrial, construction, or mining environments
  • Proven experience working on remote project sites

Qualifications

  • Electrical Trade Test or Electrical Diploma
  • Registered (or willing to register) as an Installation Electrician
