About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Miller Apprentice to join our client’s team in Bloemfontein, Freestate. As a key member of the production facility, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the mechanical and operational efficiency of production facilities, equipment, and plant resources in bulk cereal handling, milling, and starch extraction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the mechanical and operational efficiency of production facilities, equipment, and plant resources
- Ensure optimal performance of bulk cereal handling, milling, and starch extraction processes
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent
- SAGMA registration (advantageous)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Basic understanding of the agricultural industry
- Keen interest in the field of study
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Kairos & C-Works
- Basic understanding of milling production processes
- Basic knowledge of quality control measures
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance
- Understanding of relevant regulations
