Financial Accountant | Luxury Property Group | Bryanston Salary: R40,000 per month + benefits (CTC, including medical aid) Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Financial Accountant to join a luxury property group based in Bryanston. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with strong leadership and analytical skills, capable of managing a finance team while working independently and ensuring financial compliance and accuracy across multiple properties. Minimum Requirements: 24 years experience as a Financial Accountant or Manager within the hospitality industry Matric required; further accounting/finance qualifications advantageous Valid RSA ID Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel Experience with SAGE ONE; VIP Payroll/Payspace; CIMSO system knowledge advantageous Key Responsibilities: Financial Control & Analysis Assist in developing and maintaining financial controls across all aspects of the business Analyse and interpret monthly financial accounts for each property, reporting anomalies to the Group CEO Compile variance reports on budget overspends and highlight discrepancies or policy changes Prepare and present monthly financial packs and weekly financial reports to the Finance Manager Audit & Compliance Oversee year-end audits for all properties Ensure compliance with financial manuals, checklists, and procedures; draft new policies as required for CEO approval Maintain accurate documentation of employee files, contracts, leave schedules, payroll, medical aid, provident fund, and statutory compliance Team Leadership & Development Supervise and mentor accounting staff, improving skill levels and promoting job satisfaction Support operations managers and general managers in budgeting, scheduling, and financial planning to ensure efficient and profitable operations System Management Maintain and utilise accounting and payroll systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency Ensure timely updates and correct usage of SAGE ONE, VIP Payroll, and other relevant platforms This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to take ownership of finance operations within a reputable luxury property group.
