Job Description
The Revenue Lead is responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies that maximize occupancy, Average Daily Rate, and overall profitability across the group’s properties.
Reporting to the Commercial Lead, the Revenue Lead leads the revenue management function, overseeing the revenue team while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Property teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and business objectives.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Optimization

Develop and implement revenue strategies across the portfolio to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.

Monitor market demand, competitor pricing, and booking patterns to adjust strategies accordingly.

Oversee pricing strategies across all distribution channels including direct bookings, OTA’s, GDS, and corporate contracts.

Implement dynamic pricing models and demand-based pricing strategies.

Conduct regular rate and inventory reviews to ensure optimal revenue performance.
Forecasting & Reporting

Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasts.

Analyse historical data, market trends, and booking pace to anticipate demand.

Provide performance insights and recommendations to the Commercial Director and Executive Leadership Team.

Revenue Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the Revenue Team.

Ensure consistent revenue management practices across properties.

Provide guidance and training to property teams on pricing strategies and revenue optimization.

Drive accountability and performance within the team.
Distribution & Channel Management
-
Oversee distribution strategy across all booking channels.
-
Optimize relationships with OTA’s and distribution partners.
-
Ensure rate parity and channel profitability.
-
Work closely with Marketing and Digital teams to align promotional campaigns with revenue goals.
Commercial Collaboration
-
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Property General Managers to align revenue strategies with business objectives.

Support the development of group sales strategies, promotions, and packages.
-
Provide insights into demand patterns to support marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.

Participate in strategic commercial planning.
Systems & Technology

Manage revenue management systems and reporting tools.
-
Ensure correct configuration and use of PMS, CRS, and channel management platforms.

Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve revenue insights and automation.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Finance, or related field.
-
5+ years’ experience in Revenue Management within hospitality.

Experience managing revenue for multi-property portfolios advantageous.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
-
Advanced proficiency in Excel and revenue management systems.
-
Experience with PMS, channel managers, and OTA platforms.

Proven leadership and team management experience.
