Assistant Housekeeping Manager Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join a prestigious luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager or similar role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach Exceptional attention to detail and proactive attitude Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, luxury standards, and health & safety protocols Commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and sustainable practices Excellent verbal communication in English Physically capable, including walking up and down stairs Impeccable grooming and uniform standards Strong active listening and guest service orientation Technical Skills: Proficiency in Opera Property Management System (PMS) Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and scheduling Responsibilities: Maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest luxury standards Supervise daily housekeeping operations, staff schedules, and workflow Assist with recruitment, training, and mentoring of housekeeping staff Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene regulations Manage inventory, supplies, and budgets efficiently Implement and promote sustainable housekeeping practices Demonstrate consistent attention to detail and promptly report maintenance issues Package: Salary: R20,000 R25,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, and qualifications today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
