Job Description

Chief Concierge | Luxury Hotel | Cape Town, Western Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Chief Concierge for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for guest relations, exceptional organisational skills, and a strong knowledge of local experiences and services.

Salary: R25,000
Position: Live-out

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the concierge desk
Lead, train and supervise the concierge team
Provide personalised guest assistance, including restaurant bookings, transport arrangements and activity reservations
Build and maintain strong relationships with local service providers and suppliers
Ensure guests receive accurate information and exceptional service at all times
Handle guest requests, special arrangements and problem resolution efficiently
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events and experiences
Ensure concierge services reflect the standards of a luxury hospitality environment
Work closely with front office and guest relations teams to enhance the overall guest experience

Requirements

Previous experience as a Chief Concierge or Senior Concierge in a luxury hotel environment
Excellent guest service and communication skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Extensive knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding attractions
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Professional presentation and a guest-focused approach
