About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and capable Camp Manager for a luxury safari camp located in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience and smooth camp operations within a remote bush environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily camp operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and anticipate guest needs
Manage and supervise camp staff, ensuring high standards of service
Maintain operational standards in line with a luxury safari environment
Coordinate all departments including front of house, housekeeping, and food service
Assist with stock control, ordering, and basic administrative duties
Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are upheld at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a camp manager or similar role within a safari or lodge environment

Strong guest relations and hospitality skills

Hands-on management style with a practical approach

Ability to lead and motivate a small team

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in a remote bush setting

High attention to detail and service excellence

Qualifications

Salary & Benefits

R12,000 – R15,000 per month
