About the Role

The Audit Manager position in our Cape Town City Centre office is a critical role that requires a qualified CA(SA) to lead our client portfolio, manage audits, and provide strategic support to the firm’s directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of a client portfolio comprising individuals, trusts, close corporations, private companies, and non-profit companies
  • Management of audits and related services
  • Rendering of a supporting function to directors of the firm
  • Compliance with statutory obligations
  • Handling of enquiries
  • Delivery of quality work through maintaining audit and accounting standards
  • Management and development of audit staff in a group context
  • Supervision of audit planning, monitoring, and evaluation of team progress
  • Provision of necessary training
  • Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Accounting or related field
