Cape Town City Centre: Business Analyst: Supply Chain System

Job Description

This role sits within a technology-driven organisation operating at scale within the retail and supply chain space. The business is known for investing in systems, people, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating operational needs into practical, scalable system solutions. The role offers strong exposure to enterprise supply chain platforms, warehouse operations, and end-to-end system integrations. Duties: Analyse and manage business and system change requests within the supply chain environment Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications Collaborate with supply chain process engineers to ensure that systems align with warehouse operations Coordinate and execute system testing, including UAT and quality assurance Provide ongoing system, process, and user support Develop and maintain detailed process, system, and data documentation Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement sessions Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or equivalent Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst Experience within retail, finance, consulting, or complex systems environments Strong background in system analysis, business process design, and workshop facilitation Proven experience in UAT planning, execution, and testing coordination Experience integrating new systems with existing platforms Exposure to change management and system implementations Skills: Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Business process mapping tools (Visio preferred) Understanding of BABOK and PMBOK methodologies Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills Non-negotiables: Ability to work onsite in Cape Town (Kuilsriver area) Strong analytical and commercial mindset Apply now!
