About the Role
As a Colour Matching / Tinting Specialist at Quicktint, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate colour matching across various applications. Your attention to detail, knowledge of colour theory, and analytical skills will be essential in collaborating with clients, designers, and production teams to achieve precise colour standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Color Analysis: Evaluate and analyze colours using spectrophotometers and other color measuring devices to determine accurate color formulations.
- Sample Creation: Produce color samples for client approval, ensuring they meet specified requirements and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, designers, and production teams to understand colour needs and specifications for various projects.
- Formulation Development: Develop and adjust color formulations to achieve desired results, ensuring consistency across batches.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular testing and quality checks on color samples and finished products to maintain color accuracy and consistency.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve color-related issues during production or application processes.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of colour formulations, testing results, and client interactions for future reference and compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in colour matching, paint mixing, or a related field.
