Job Description

Hire Resolve’s client, a provider of integrated property and infrastructure solutions, is searching for a Concrete Foreman to provide supervision on concrete construction projects and to ensure a projects success, this role is based in Cape Town.

????????????????:

  • Prioritise opportunities for cost reduction, protect and manage risks, develop risk
    management plans, maintain reliable control systems and participate in all internal
    and external audits
  • Ensure optimal utilization of project resources, including materials, plant,
    equipment, and labor, while controlling storage and stacking; manage the
    acquisition, deployment, and maintenance of plant and equipment; assist in
    identifying requirements and allocate resources using cost-effective methods
  • Understand and contribute to the Works Programme, preparing weekly/fortnightly
    programmes and instructing teams; accordingly, coordinate all procedures and
    activities related to contract planning and management; and oversee concrete
    construction projects, breaking them into stages, planning resources, and
    addressing any issues affecting quality and completion time.
  • Execute concrete projects with proficiency in preparation and installation,
    coordinate timely completion by managing drawings, specifications, materials, and
    equipment in Project Monitoring, ensure quality and adherence to standards in
    Quality Control, and contribute to cost control efforts in Cost Control & Procurement
    by monitoring progress and reporting potential losses
  • Quality Control, monitor and control prompt completion by ensuring correct
    drawings, specifications, proper material use, and requisitioning, coordinating work
    systematically, maintaining acceptable standards, and adhering to good building
    practices; and in Cost Control & Procurement, monitor and control works for
    progress, quality standards, and contribute to cost control efforts, reporting
    potential losses/re-work costs to the General Foreman

  • Technical Diploma or a Trade Qualification
  • Minimum of 20 years experience on Concrete, Civil and Building Structures
