The Role: Costing Analyst This role exists to ensure internal pricing and costing systems remain accurate, competitive, and efficient. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you’ll help identify cost-saving opportunities, benchmark against industry standards, and maintain reliable costing data. Key Responsibilities Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a cost, pricing, or data analysis role Assist in compiling, updating, and reviewing internal pricing models Support benchmarking exercises to enhance cost competitiveness Identify and interpret cost trends using Excel and analytical tools Maintain and ensure accuracy of costing databases Collaborate with internal teams to meet pricing and reporting deadlines Provide general support in process improvements related to cost efficiency About You 1-2 years experience in a finance, costing, or data-heavy support role Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Comfortable working with databases and learning new software Basic understanding of financial principles and cost structures An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems Experience in logistics or freight is a plus, but not essential
