Job Summary

Maintaining debtors` records, including invoicing, receipting, and addressing customer queries Posting entries to the Debtors Journal Responding to and resolving all debtor queries and issues Requesting claim documents and remittance advice from debtors Minimising debtor`s days outstanding Calling debtors on their past due accounts and negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans Handling questions or complaints Investigating and resolving discrepancies Creating trust relationships with debtors when possible, to avoid future issues NQF 4 – Grade 12 NQF 5 or higher in accounting or equivalent will be an advantage. 1- 3 years’ experience in debtors’ administration and risk management 1 -3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting department with a focus on debtors’ management Multi-task orientated. No criminal record
