About the Role

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit a driven Business Development Representative to generate demand, qualify leads, and create revenue opportunities across a defined market in Cape Town City Centre. This role is ideal for someone with strong outbound sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with prospective partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate demand through outbound prospecting, events, marketing activity, and targeted lists
  • Make outbound calls to prospective accountants, bookkeepers, and enterprise subsidiaries using phone, email, and social media to engage prospects
  • Qualify leads and route opportunities to the right sales representative
  • Research potential partners and identify key decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of prospecting activity
  • Collaborate with sales teams to improve lead generation strategy
  • Arrange and host events for prospective partners across South Africa
